Learn the field, not the pitch

Process mining is a twenty-year-old research field with a settled vocabulary, and most of what is written about it is a product brochure. These guides teach the field itself: what an event log is, what discovery and conformance actually compute, and where object-centric data changes the answer.

Where this comes from

Every article in the series is an educational synthesis of the open-access Process Mining Handbook (van der Aalst and Carmona, eds., 2022), and each one names the chapter it follows. They are not a substitute for the handbook, and they are not vendor, legal or audit advice. Where an article states an opinion it says so.
